On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, Walter Eugene Thomas received his wings and robe of glory!

IT’S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY! Walter Eugene Thomas (Zaee) was born on April 21, 2000. He graduated from Thomas Stone Senior High School in June 2018 with honors. Walter accepted the Lord as his personal Savoir at an early age. He was baptized at Kingdom Baptist Church in Waldorf, Maryland. He later joined the Church of Greater Love, where he initially served as an usher.

Walter was a fun loving and happy person. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He loved children and assisted at the Greater Love Daycare Center. Often you would find him babysitting his nieces and nephew. Walter’s desire was to become an entrepreneur. He dreamed of someday owning his own barbershop.

Walter leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother Shenna Foster, father Walter Daniel Thomas, brothers Tony Sullivan, Ir., BaShawn McDonald and Lorenzo McDonald, sister Theresa dams, grandparents; Joseph and Sheila Foster, Donald and Nancy Staten, aunts; LaShawn Cuffie, Shantiea Dean, Beatrice Foster and Yvonne Galloway, uncles; Duane Foster, Gerald Cuffie, Kenneth Deans, Jerry Mungro and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Walter’s Favorite Sayings:

“Brah Let me tell you!!!”

“Ya’ll some Rooster’s, I’m a Spring Chicken”

“Don’t call me Fat Girl, only my brothers can call me that!!!

“When it’s my time to go, it’s time for me to go. I’m not scared to die”

“Mom you know I love you”

“I don’t like people”

“I’m big dog, I got this”

“Mecca stay focused and stay down”

“God dad, you got some money?”

“You always talking about cleaning up”

“Your like an old bag of grapes in the refrigerator”

“You will always be my ugly duckling”

Each day we are thinking of and missing you. We know that you were a gift God shared with us for a brief moment, however those memories last forever and we hold on to them dearly! You live on through your children and for that we are grateful. We love and miss you forever! Continue to be our Angel!”

Briona Jasmine Porter was born on June 2nd, 1994, at Prince Georges Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland to Keith Shorter and Charlene Porter. Briona was the only Granddaughter of Beatrice Porter and the only Niece of Valencia Porter, Janice Bullock. Briona grew up in Charles County, Maryland, and attended the public school system there. She graduated from Jennifer Elementary School in 6th grade, then went to John Hanson Middle School in 8th grade, and was looking forward to starting 9th grade at Thomas Stone High School in Charles County Maryland. Briona was a loving, clever, bright, and fun lady who enjoyed dancing, cooking, and most importantly, her church and being a part of it.

Briona was a member of the Usher Board at her church, Judah Temple AME ZION in Bowie, Maryland, where she was a regular attendee. Briona also enjoyed being a part of the Step Team at John Hanson Middle School and her Church Step Team, which was founded by Briona Porter. Briona loved to eat, and one of her ambitions was to become a school teacher or an attorney. Briona is sadly missed by her family and friends, as well as her Godmother Diona Minor.
